Meet Our Instructor/Owner
Jill is a dedicated instructor committed to guiding you on your wellness journey. Since 2001, Jill has studied and practiced many different styles of yoga. In 2011, Jill obtained her Registered Yoga Teacher Certification by completing 200 hours of yoga training taught by Ally Ford of Beyond The Pose Yoga.
On Earth Day 2012, Jill, along with her friend James Osborne, embarked on a mission to bring yoga to the community. They founded Yoga Jai in Shreveport, a platform that taught yoga in the park every Sunday until 2016 and fostered a sense of community. In April 2021, Jill furthered her commitment by completing a 50-hour Oracle Yin Yoga Online Teacher Training program with Lindsey Nova.
In the Fall of 2022, Jill started her journey back to school to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), hoping to fulfill her calling to help others. With this degree, she plans to incorporate yoga into her occupational therapy treatments once she is in the field. Starting Wandering Studio is part of her goal to bring yoga to all those in her community and beyond. She believes yoga should be accessible for every body, at any stage of life, any age, or health status.
